About this data
The Infectious Disease Prevention & Control Unit (IDCU) is the national unit responsible for the surveillance, prevention and control of infectious diseases in Malta. It publishes tables of notifiable disease cases — sporadic cases and outbreaks — broken down by period, sex and nationality.
Every figure shown here was read from the IDCU’s published PDF tables. The original PDFs remain the authoritative record and are linked from each publication. This dashboard is an independent project and is not an official IDCU product.
